Walkfest Weekend

There's the Garden Route Walking Festival on this Easter Weekend, a first for South Africa. Choose any of the fifty-two walks in Mossel Bay, The Wilderness, George, Sedgefield, Knysna, Plett, Nature's Valley and Storms River; you will find something for everyone...from beach walks to Peak walks, forest , geo-caching, poetry and yoga walks, and even a shed-your-clothes-and-go-back-to-nature walk. Like I said, there is something for everyone! Even so, we decided to design our own (possibly due to rising too late for the 8am start) and headed out for a sketching (for me) and writing walk (for Heather) in Pledge Nature Reserve in the middle of Knysna. It was more of a stroll, but very satisfying.
