This is the inside of one of the smaller models (which are still larger than an adult human). If you listen you can hear the air compressor near by charging up. The reserve of air is held in a tank to power the air lines that move the model.
This model is fun, as not only can you see the inside structure but it has a control box nearby so you can make it move.
The other models, I presume, are run by computer programs selecting the air lines. I don't know where the models came from and I wonder if perhaps they were used for a film or similar?
