Our minister spoke at the Good Friday service in The Swan car park this morning.....This was his message, using the shops opposite the car park. 

From left to right....
We have at some time all done things that are not good ( Police office/shop)
The nails that nailed Jesus to the cross were not beautiful but did a beautiful thing for us. (Beautiful Nails salon)
Jesus died, and many of us have known the pain of loss in that way. (Co-Operative Funeral Care)
The risen Jesus can help us see things in a new light. (Specsavers)

My extra is another scene in the barber's window, of Peter when the cock crowed and he realised he had denied knowing Jesus. 

We had hot cross buns and a light lunch then got on with a mammoth task of preparing for new carpet in the lounge and study....MUCH to be moved first!!

Out for dinner at friends this evening....nice.
