Chrome and Parkhouse Hill

This was supposed to be the best day of the Bank Holiday weekend so we made it our walking day.

We started in Longnor in the Peak District and walked up Chrome Hill and back to Longnor. Along the way we stopped at The Quiet Woman in Earl Sterndale for my other half's traditional pint and pork pie on this walk.

This view is at the end of the walk and looks back towards where we'd been.

We've had perfect walking weather: not too warm, not too windy, blue skies and a few fluffy clouds for photography purposs.

My only disappointment was plenty of sheep but very few lambs.....? 

I just loved the great hair style of the sheep in the extra shot.
