Easter Creativity

Last day of school today - we broke up for the Easter Holidays this afternoon. The class and I have had a wonderfully creative week. Tuesday we wrote Easter poems using a very simple format based on the senses.....the children simply chose the adjectives and nouns to complete each line. Then yesterday and today they have been making the decoration for the card and putting the 2 together. There were some lovely cards going home - quite a few chose to write a more spiritual poem which was good. I was given this particular card telling me that I am ' the best teacher in the universe' which made me smile. Obviously I'm not always the Wicked Witch of the West.
