Needles, CA

We stopped in Needles for lunch today on our first leg of our trip home.
The only thing I knew about Needles was what I learned from Snoopy's brother, Spike, in the Peanuts comic strip.
And sure enough there he was to greet us in this popular chain restaurant.
And yes, Needles is a very small, desolate, desert town!
