Another beautiful July day!

This was taken this morning during light rain, while I was walking the dogs at Ferry Meadows. We had to go there as our local riverside walk is flooded again, the first time I've ever known this during the middle of July. The weather was certainly more reminiscent of October than July!

I suppose every cloud has a silver lining - because of the rain I was able to catch up on my paperwork and rest my legs, which were quite weary after almost twelve hours of walking and standing yesterday!

I'm desperately hoping tomorrow will be a better day, as Pete and I have arranged a visit to a site in Norfolk. There really isn't enough time for us to cancel many more fieldwork trips...
