Well I shall draw a veil over the fact that my puppy has taken to weeing all over the carpet again ..  after a few very good days .. grrrr

Maisie has stopped following me about and crying when she can't see me, which is a bit of a relief - she was even quiet all night in her crate last night - hoorah! So when I saw Mama fox in the grden today I decided to go out. She disappeared for a while - it's some time since I went out there with the foxes - but eventually she returned. She's such an old girl .. and always looks a bit weary to me. She has at least one cub, possibly two.

Maisie is very good at silently watching the foxes through the trellis fence around her yard. This evening I decided to see if she'd be ok if she came into the garden with me. We sat by the rockery and Maisie lay silently next to me for half an hour, watching three foxes - one came within 15 feet of her.

What a good girl!
