What a Largo?

Decided on a wee day trip seeing where we end up! First it was the rookie mistake of leaving the house without memory card in the camera! A trip into Leven retail park and Argos saved the day. From there we ended up in Largo where we came across this statue (if you call it that?)Simply situated in almost garden space over looking the Forth.
Didn't see any information as to what it represents.
