I love this man.

Tonight we are celebrating Dr Ws significant birthday. Many have turned out for this auspicious occasion because he is a Prince among men.
He is a consultant in ICU and I have worked with him for 30 years. He is kind, compassionate and caring and has the ability to break down barriers between people from all backgrounds and all walks of life. He is a skilled critical care consultant but I have seen him treat his fellow consultants, world leaders, nurses, politicians, cleaners, and beggars in exactly the same compassionate way.
When my daughter was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease - he was there. When my back siezed up with a slipped disc - he was there. When my son came into A&E with a fractured wrist - he was there.
