Puerto Rican Flower Pot Meal!

We decided to try the very local (2 mins walk) Puerto Rican restaurant tonight with Dan.  It was definitely different and not something L and I had experienced before.  This dish is called Mofongo and the flower pot is made of fried plantains.  The meat was pork and it was quite delicious, though after some starters, this proved to be too much for me to eat and so it became Tuesday's leftovers.  Not so good the second time, but really enjoyed the experience.  The plantains reminded me a little of Migas we had in Portugal.
