Connections

people are shadows
until you get to meet them
then they're your shadow

I had written another text before, but I found it was long-winded and pompous and I erased it. What I meant to convey was the fact that, once you've met someone, they're linked to you forever, in that you can't un-meet them, un-know them.

However, I have no idea what prompted me to write that, or what I meant by it. Just, probably, that connections should be made, and that I hope they'd mean people would be more careful, more attentive to each other, but there would be this indelible link between them. But I'm a dreamer.
