Breakfast with Alice

I'm trying to wake up. I'm perpetually sleep deprived because Leif wakes up before 6 no matter what time we go to bed. As much as I love the little bugger I'll be glad when he is willing to sleep in a little - a little - maybe 7?
Puppies....mercy. It does keep me in the present, though, and I can start spinning ahead when I get caught up in all that is going on in the world, and in my own little corner of it.
