Wednesday

Today was a much better day, although it started poorly. Some people at work cooperated nicely and I had a very good conversation with my boss to clear the air - I felt so much lighter after that.

Sometime early afternoon I noticed I made a joke and then laughed. It feels like a long time since that's happened. I could feel a chink of light opening up, just like Dotty said it would. Praise be!

When I got home I went for a long-ish walk to get my steps up on my fitbit (I'm a slave to that device). The sun was going down and I caught the moon rising - all Halloween orange and chimney red - it's the red dot in the thumbnail. Oh, to have had a proper dslr and a tripod, but I'm so grateful to have seen such beauty as it rose up into the clouds.

Thank you blip chums for being so kind to me. Sara once said I was on a rollercoaster and it certainly feels like it. I'm hoping the ups and downs will become less dramatic. Thank you for being there for me during this difficult time. xx
