A Snowy Bryce Canyon
After the heavy snow storm of last night we woke up to a thick blanket of snow covering everything in sight. We drove towards Bryce, stopping off at the red canyon to take photos of all the heavily snow laden trees and rock pinnacles. We then continued on to Bryce Canyon where we stopped at sunset point to view the stunning vista of bright red rock, baby blue sky, lush green trees and sparkling white snow all contrasting perfectly to make a spectacular scene. We then hiked a short way into the canyon to be surrounded by the towering rock columns and banks of snow. Rosy cheeked and out of breath we hiked back to the canyon rim where we drove to many stunning views and enjoyed the tranquility of the park. Around midday the park started getting busy so we headed out and drove to page, stopping off at thunderberg at mount Carmel for some tasty 'Ho-made' apple pie.
