Castles in the sky

Blipping from France still. This was taken after a huge hike up to the very top of Chateau de Bonaguil. I can't tell you how amazing and far reaching the views are! It's the second time I have visited and this time I was able to take in so much more of the detail.

There is some very very old graffiti which is interesting to see. The herb gardens are a new feature and beautifully done in multiple square sections with hazel hurdles.

If you are ever near Fumel in France this is s place to visit. It's very impressive architecture . The first part or version of the castle dates to about 1271.
