Greenbelt saved!

Amazing display of democracy in action tonight when councillors rejected by 12 votes to 6 not to build on Greenbelt and flood plain, Airthrey Kerse, between Stirling and Bridge of Allan.
 
And this was despite fact the developers, Graham Dairies, had packed the meeting with their own supporters- farmers and paid employees-some arriving at 2pm for 6pm meeting - with no connection to local area.
 
 
Over 100 angry local residents- and I was one of them- failed to get in to meeting.
 
In fact only one local resident got in because our Green councillor, Mark Ruskell, gave up his seat for him.
