Sodium Discard
Short of inspiration today as I've only had four hours sleep after arriving home at 07:00 this morning .... and its my birthday too!
We had a walk around the 'long block' this evening and I took the camera with the nifty fifty attached on the off-chance of finding something blippable. This is brickwork and chunks of concrete discarded into a skip, illuminated by the sodium street lights. Fartnarkled in Lightroom with a dippy tone curve.
However - it is Gill's birthday at the weekend when I'll be at work so tomorrow is the nearest we can get to a celebrate day. We're off to John Lewis in Solihull to collect Gill's new camera and then going on to Birmingham for a look at the redeveloped New Street station and the area around the old library. Perhaps lunch and a mooch in the art gallery?
