Summer Migrant

Some time spent boning up on the new regulations for Community Affiliated Sports Clubs, like what we are. As in all things, HMRC are cracking down. So 50% of the membership must be active. Active means 12 outings a year. That's a challenge for many of our old buffers. Unless making tea in the Bell Block is participating. And there's to be no more proposing and seconding of new members. We just need a valid reason before refusing anyone. Like the cut of their jib, perhaps.
Anyway, later, down to measure up. Stuff. And I see from the window that the first of the summer boats has arrived. Little Black Number, J&S’s cute little trailer sailer has travelled from its over-wintering home, like some migratory bird. I think those trees may need thinned before they burst into leaf. And before the arrival of my telescope.
