A Whole New Ball Game

It's a bit of a mystery how it happened, but somehow, Poppy was picked to play rugby for the school at a competition held at the Village College. Thankfully it was only tag rugby so no danger of breaking a nail or messing up her hair.
Dad and I cycled over to watch for a little bit but Poppy was mortified as we were the only parents watching so, at the first opportunity, dismissed us. As it was a pretty cold and grey day, we were more than happy to decamp to Linton Kitchen for coffee and toast.
Amazingly, Poppy's team came first!
