Fellow Travellers

I hardly ever seem to meet anyone that I know on the Manchester train, so it was a nice surprise today to meet up with Rowan and her two colleagues, James and Sian. Rowan (on the right) has been a lifelong friend of our Anna's. She is an artist specialising in giant puppets (including 2 giraffes which she has taken to Glastonbury), and teaches English as a second language. The three work together to provide drawings for conferences, and today were headed to Old Trafford for a conference on midwifery.
