Boat Race
Marie and I went down to the Port hoping the fog was going to roll in , alas it did not. We watched a container ship leaving the port and heading out of the harbour. Once she was on her way the Tugs Te Maru and Aoraki raced each other in. Today is a special Blip day for me, 4 years ago as I was leaving from a Physio appointment, one of the Staff a photographer in her own right introduced me to to a powerful and addictive best type of drug this side of oxygen. Lorraine thank you so much. To all the Blippers I have met, who have come to New Zealand it has been a wonderful experience. My Highlights have been meeting Jason and Mun Rosewarn and their family, Rower2012 and Paladian the macro extraordinaire. Last year the ANZAC Blipmeet with a huge Aussie and English contingent, a great turn out of Kiwi's from near and far. I drove the 4hours each way just to be there. Meeting the wonderful fruitphone lady Snowy, from Snow down under. To meeting up with a Mountain Climber who is very close to the Pope. To be inspired by the Boss of a dog and his incredible knowledge of Photography, from the Tussock tales fame. To everyone who follows me to all whom I follow you all are an inspiration. Well MrsPuff I never got arrested by the Blip Police because in 4 years I never missed a Blip. Blip is a unique place and the people here are just friends we have not met yet. To be able to share Joy and Grief makes this a truly exceptional place to be part of. To the artists who produce stunning and beautiful images I can not thank you enough for encouraging me by inspiring me with your work. Thank you all and special thanks to everyone who worked hard to save Blipfoto long may it continue.
