Day 23 March Macro - Aquamarine

It's my granddaughter's birthday today so I've photographed our birthstone, Aquamarine....I've Blipped this pendant many times and it always looks very sparkly...
My granddaughter loves it and I've always told her it has her name on it when she's older! It started life as a brooch (it's 98 carats) and it was far too heavy to wear as a brooch so I bought a Victorian fob watch chain and got our local jeweller to re-model it and make the stone more secure which they did brilliantly....
I've worn it a few times recently and although it's very heavy it is lovely....
