Cherry scones

Well it didn't rain on St Swithin's day but it's making up for it today.
I don't mind the weather if I can stay in and bake. I did make quite small scones to help control our waistlines! My mum used to make scones with sour milk in the days before fridges, and they were lovely. I read somewhere that using buttermilk had the same effect so I used that today, but they were no different from using normal milk.
