Perhaps not your usual spring fair

Littel leaf mountain mahogany  (Cercocarpus intricatus)coming into flower.   A tough drought tolerant broadleaf evergreen native to the inter mountain west.  

Promoted by the Plant Select Program and deserving of wider use.   It really looks its best when sheared once or twice a year in the landscape or get a heard of browsing animals to make if feel like its back on the rim rock of Moab.
