Day 82 of 366 - The Elephant!

Today's image was taken earlier this evening in the City Centre of Coventry. It is a view of Coventry sports centre. The building was completed in 1977 and was designed and built in the style of an Elephant. The Elephant is on Coventry's Coat of Arms and has been since before the 14th Century. This may well be one of the only buildings in the world in the style of an Elephant! It is joined (via the walkway that acts as it's trunk) to the Grade II listed Coventry Central Swimming Baths.

The photo was taken using the App ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.

First I used the app Snapseed to edit the picture. I cropped and straightened the image, then I used the healing function to take out a couple of road signs and a few people from the image. I also applied the Tonal Contrast filter and boosted the saturation and warmth in the picture. Next I used the app Tangled FX to apply the Cartoon preset. Finally I used Laminar Pro to add the Craquelure texture and the Snap Stack frame.
