Family gathering

Today we had a little family get together and late lunch as on Tuesday daughter #2 and Violet will be setting out on their very long journey to Australia where they will spend 3 weeks visiting friends in Perth and family in Sydney.
We set an Easter themed table as of course they will not be with us this year for this special weekend.  I can't recall if Violet had just sampled some early Easter chocolate just before I took this but she rather looks a though she might have done!
Lunch had to be served late because daughter # 1 has to work alternate weekends until 3pm and also my son was swimming 5k  in the Aqua Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford for Sports Relief! This is the 5th year running that he has completed the Swimathon , which is sometimes in aid of Sports relief, sometimes for the Marie Curie Charity and his 2nd time at the Aqua Centre.
