A busy day which is just as well, waiting for news of a loved one can be hard if you have nothing to keep you occupied. News finally came early this evening - The patient is out of theatre and although he has had major spinal surgery, he is sat up in bed and cracking jokes already. He is unstoppable.

My day started out with dogs, then horses. Rode Willie after he had been long reined....Have I mentioned how much I love that boy? ;)

I then took the dogs to Evie beach. I wanted to run again today and thought my body would appreciate sand instead of track. I'm not really feeling stiff or in pain until I walk down stairs, that hurts a fair bit. I got home and gave the dogs a groom, gathered enough dog fur to insulate a city of birds nests. I then cracked on with cleaning the house which involved lots of up and down the stairs...ouchie!

Gorgeous needed a dram when he got home. I shall maybe get him another shortly...
