Nana

This is the first time in a long time that Nana has visited ours for Sunday dinner. She has been in a hospital for several weeks before finding a suitable care home for her. Nana had been allowed out on occasions over the last few days with family members so the her hair done etc. It was a bit manic in the kitchen trying to fend for an extra guest as we've gotten used to 5, not six mouths to feed. However Tuttle Jnr was thrilled to bits and the weather was kind meaning we all decided to have a go at skipping(?)! Nana didn't of course but it did mean we all sat outside while the lasagne took ages to cook.

Earlier this morning I cycled to my new work place on a dummy run to see how long it would take me on an 11mile commute. 40 minutes on the way there, 50 on the return leg. The mean factor being the wind, not my old age (and complete lack of bike exercise), honest. Took some pics while I was there, which I will post on Flickr soon (ran out of extras on Blip).

Turns out the Blip meet in Manchester when rather well today. MUST meet up on the next one.....
