The big picture - Mono Monday 113
I had quite a different idea for this theme but haven't yet solved how to do it so this blip is of my camera setup which will produce the 'biggest' picture - a 6x9cm negative with a super wideangle lens, the Mamiya Sekor 50mm (35mm equivalent is just over 20mm).
I usually use this lens either composing on a ground glass screen (in the right foreground) or by estimating and using hyperfocal distance.
The film holder on the back will allow not only 6x9 but also 6x6 and 6x4.5 negatives (masks are put inside) so has a knob wind and the frame numbers are set in red back windows; the other back to the right is 6x9 only so has a lever wind. Both will take either 120 (eight 6x9 pix) or 220 (sixteen 6x9 pix) film.
The major difference between this camera and the Mamiya Universal I blipped before is that this one has bellows at the back, giving some extension for macro or tilt for limited depth of field and perspective control. It can also be used to correct verticals for architectural shots but this is very limited.
Thanks to trisharooni for another challenging theme.
