Preparation for Bookclub

The Blokes Book Club (aka BBC) met at our apartment this evening. S helped me out by baking the banana cake. The blokes all love their banana cake, and at the end of the year all the cakes are rated as to how good a banana cake they were. For only the second time have I produced (courtesy of S) a banana cake. Other time my offering has attracted few votes as the cake was clearly not a very successful banana cake. This one was superb.

The presented reading by the smaller than usual attendance was varied. Two fiction books I discussed are presently at the Beachhouse, so could not be included in this photo.

A very pleasant evening, and now I'm off to bed.
