"Do you know what the best part about b-days

Me: "No, what is?"
Owen: "The birthday cake!" [noms up a big piece of chocolate cake]

This is my cousin Gillian's now 2 year old son Nolan. He is sporting his cake on his face ;) Spent a nice afternoon with family celebrating little Nolan's second birthday. It seems like he was just born!

My Mum and I left together a little after 6. She and my Dad headed over to our friend Rory's 30th surprise party which was already in progress. Mr. Badger had been there all day, so I hung out with the poor neglected dogs for a little while before heading over. They had a crazy water slide inflatable thing they had mounted. It looked like a lot of fun - and Mr. Badger agreed, other than getting some scrapes ;) Birthday fun abounded this Saturday.
