Hellebore

A morning in the garden weeding and generally tidying up.  Good to be out in the fresh air.  One of the beds in the garden hasn't really had very much attention since we have been here so decided to change that.  Strange soil - some very heavy and some ok - and a bit mossy as it doesn’t get much sun.  Dug it over and am going to let the air get to it.  Once it has had a chance to settle I’ll plant a couple of hydrangeas.  They seem to do well here (what with all the rain).  Also, humped a lot of bark around the garden and spread it on.  Keeps the weeds down.  Exhausted.


Off to photography course this evening.  Looking forward to it but hoping I'll be able to stay awake.
