Cheery flowers

Gerberas are one of my favourite flowers, I love their cheeriness. Stu bought these with him when he stayed on Saturday night. Orange is his fav colour.
Gerbera is also important commercially. It is the fifth most used cut flower in the world (after rose, carnation, chrysanthemum, and tulip). It is also used as a model organism in studying flower formation. Who knew! Well you do now ;)
