Another Loch, Another Walk
This time it is Forfar Loch and the weather was decidedly grey and chilly, with a keen wind blowing across the water. I met up with friend L. again for lunch and a walk, but there wasn't a lot of activity on the loch today.
These swans were interesting, however, as they were really enjoying something in the weeds here and making noisy slurping sounds as they ate. Have to say that it didn't look too appealing!
On the other hand, the Italian pastries we devoured in a coffee shop later were very appealing and totally delicious. Trying to show off my Italian, I called them sfogliattelle (which means lobster tails), as I'd eaten them before in Sorrento. However, the Italian server said they were actually aragostini, which is much the same thing but with sweeter fillings. Mine was Nutella and L's was lemon French cream and both were very more-ish.
Now off to do my second week of the course on Genealogy, so will catch up with you all later.
