The Lodge on Loch Goil

I was in Lochgoilhead all day holding a surgery, being interviewed for a tv Programme about something I was involved in over thirty years ago, and visiting a couple of people.

One of the visits was to the Lodge on Loch Goil an absolutely beautiful , five star wedding venue in a restored Arts & Crafts Leiper designed country house in a wonderful setting which has been superbly restored and developed by Ian and Alice .

Their website, which is great, still doesn't do the place justice and this little image - one of the stained glass windows by the great Daniel Cottier , which shows a daughter of the original owners - gives a flavor of what is to be found there, as does my extra photo of the tree house, in which weddings sometimes take place.

The Lodge is also available for corporate events and a restaurant is opening shortly. It is a place to see , without a doubt.
