A heap....

of toads in mating frenzy! The track to the lochan was covered in toads, coming, going, lying, dying, croaking, creeping and heaping! The water was moving and the noise was loud!
It's an important time for them, to lay as much as they can, before the predators get at the spawn or tadpoles.
