Out west for a walk in the morning.  It was raining when we set off, so I took a few snaps before starting and left my camera in the car.  The rain eased after a while and we had a super walk.  Towards the end we crossed The Outrun of the title of Amy Liptrot's superb book.

The quicksand warnings are new since I was last here...I think perhaps quicksand is something that can appear as conditions change, as I have heard of it on other beaches too.  By the way, these signs are next to a bench, presumably for spectators.

Apparently today is International Happiness Day...I hope you have had a happy day too :)
