River bank weeds

I'm loving the summer-like weather and gentle breezes we're having. I'll enjoy it for as long as it lasts, which I reckon is another day.

Another busy day at work for hpx. Then I had an appointment and an unusual situation afterwards. The combination on my bike lock didn't work. I don't know what happened but maybe the thing you twist to reset the combination had moved.

We cut the lock and I went to the bike shop to buy another lock. The guy who served me pointed out my front shocks were leaking oil. Little did I know, I thought they just needed a clean!

It'll cost me some $s next next week to have the seals re-donw, but the alternative is a $700 rebuild if they run out of oil. Ouch!

Maybe the lock incident was good thing, otherwise I'd have been none the wiser and the damage would have been far worse.

Think I'd better talk to my insurance company about the water damage to the downstairs ceiling too. The bubbling effect isn't going anywhere.

Time for me to unwind.
