Five tiers

He is fifty today.

So to celebrate we made him a five tier chocolate birthday cake.

I wish all the kids could have been here to celebrate with him, though they are incredibly thoughtful, Milly who is currently on a gap year adventure in Canada facetimed us and so did Izzy who is on a humanitarian project in Lesvos.

All in all though it was a lovely day.
