East Riddlesden Hall
Today was a lovely sunny morning for the second day of astronomical spring.
We visited East Riddlesden Hall near Keighley which is a 17th century manor house now owned by the National Trust. It has been added to over the years, but the original part was built in 1642 by a wealthy Halifax clothier, James Murgatroyd.
The picture above is the lake and house seen as you enter the gates to the property. The extras are taken in the small but tidy gardens and in the house.
Of course, no trip is complete without a visit to a tea shop, and they have a very good one too!
