Pieris flowers

A quiet day - did a few bits and pieces in the garden and topped up the bird feeders - they had been busy while we were away.  Watched the highlights of the race this afternoon - a bit disappointing but at least Mercedes had a 1/2.  
My blip today is of the pieris flowers which are just opening out.  They are very dainty and remind me of lily of the valley flowers.  
Dull start but quite sunshiny now
