Red Clydeside

One of the maps from Glasgow: Mapping the City which was the subject of (my final) session at this year's Aye Write.

The red dots on the map are nothing to with politics - least ways not left wing thinking. Instead they show the locations of pubs and off licences in Glasgow - a commission from the Temperance Society who did make an emphatic point. There were a lot of pubs - 12,000 if I remember correctly from the talk.
