Took out camera to get pic of cake and battery had died.
Did I bring my charger with me for the wknd? Of course not!
Quick pic with phone before it was all gobbled up.
My lemon madeira on left and mother's fruit cake on right.
Made the lemon madeira as Lilly Higgins said in her book that my father would like it. She was right! And he doesn't have a sweet tooth. Result.
