The Globe

This is Leicesters oldest pub, built in 1720, it was used by farmers to hire workers for the year.
It used to brew its own beer using water from a well underneath the building.
In the early 18th Century, Leicester brewers Everards bought the pub and it has been in their ownership ever since.
