Half a tori

This is the famous tori of Nagasaki. When the atomic bomb went off it was damaged, but has been left as it is to remind us of that day. Wondering around Nagasaki there are reminders everywhere. For me the most poignant was the entrance to the medical school. All the staff and students present that day died.
