My London Boy

Hectic weekend. Up at 5.30 a.m. on Friday in the back of beyond which is home. By 6.45 p.m. having a g&t at the Almeida with William. My cousin's son was voted young director of the year for his Uncle Vanya and I'd promised myself to see it and persuaded my friend William to join me. Luckily Jode texted to say it was 3 hours 15 minutes so we shared a sandwich and wine before the start. Very enjoyable with some powerful performances - and people watching opportunities were excellent.
Today another early start to go to Oxfordshire and visit family there. Back by evening to have tapas and sangria with Jody and Aafke at St. Katharine's dock - my Mother's Day present. Great atmosphere, conversation and more people watching.
So, so many Spanish speaking people in London - just the sound of the language makes me long for the sun!
