The result of more experimentation.  This is a focus stack of shots taken using my lens reversing ring with the addition of my 2X converter.   Not perfect but Clickychick has explained to me how I can avoid the little slightly blurry bit in future.

The main activity of the day was yet more garden work trying to right the wrongs created by "Desmond" in December.  I spent most of the afternoon on my knees pulling water borne debris from the bottom of the hedge, around plants etc.

I filled our garden waste  recycling bin and still have a lot left to go.
