Composition

I took lots of photos of this friendly little drake all on his lonesome on the river next to the supermarket. I was more interested in the patterns in the water than the duck itself which is why I changed it to mono. I used the opportunity to practise composition for #A Year With My Camera. I was quite pleased to get all aspects of what we were asked to include in our image:
1. Rule of thirds
2. Leading Lines
3. Negative space
4. Background separation.
