Mess

One of those busy Saturdays in glorious sunshine. 

Apart from swimming, visitors etc, a slightly cranky (still low on energy) child meant an early walk/sleep to the allotment, where significant progress was made.  

Dug enough space for first early potatoes - might put a few in next week if the weather is kind.  Also. sowed some broad beans and faffed around a bit.  

The afternoon trip to Gorgie city farm didn't go well.  A big long steam train passed, and the goats were tiny but mostly the smallest of our party was disappointed and snotty.
